I also was Deputy Press Secretary for one of Seattle's mayors and worked in TV news, writing & producing and as producer and talent for a monthly corporate employee video.

I hold the internationaly recoginized Accreditation in Public Relations, (APR) from the Public Relations Society of America and taught Public Information and Crisis Communications for FEMA and University of California, Berkeley's Certificate in Crisis Management program.
